The first step to God's salvation in Christ is to CONFESS that you are a sinner and need to be saved. To be saved we must recognize our need for salvation. Sin is any evil word, thought or deed, anything contrary to God's perfect will and separates us from God. To confess is to admit that we have sinned and are separated from God.

Romans 3:23 says "All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." Romans 6:23 says, "The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Do you confess this?

Faith in Jesus Christ is required to be saved. We must believe that he died on the cross to pay the price for our sin and that he rose again as proof that he is Savior and Lord.

Romans 5:8 "But God demonstrated his own love for us in this: while
we were still sinners Christ died for us." Do you believe that?
