We are a family of believers committed to worshipping and serving Jesus Christ. Our worship services are a gathering of people from Coronado and the surrounding communities, the military community, guests in Coronado, and occasionally people from around the world. As a Southern Baptist Church, we join with like minded Christians in spreading the gospel around the world.

Christ reaches out to people of all ages and backgrounds and we strive to do the same. That is why we provide ministries geared to various life stages and needs. We have a place for everyone to study the scriptures, fellowship together, and minister to others through numerous service opportunities. We want you to be a part of the blessing of God in the life of the church! We have: Sunday School classes for children and adults; Fellowship potluck luncheon on the last Sunday, of every month; Each Sunday we provide breakfast, and dinner on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

This congergation has a special emphasis on ministering to children, the poor, and the disabled. We reach out to help the hurting. The church was founded by Navy service members in 1956 and purchased its current property in 1958. The church's highest value is love: for God, neighbors, and self. Faith and hope are also essential for spiritual health. Every Christian should have a daily time set aside for fellowship with God through prayer and Bible study.
