While the Southern Baptist mantra is to pray for peace in all ways, we are human and live in a world of harsh reality. Sometimes our nations go to war. Without offering any opinion on the theological nature of war, or on the justness of any war in particular, we recognize and deeply appreciate the sacrifices our military makes for us every day, whether in the field, or providing support to those in harm's way.

Since December 2002, we've supported HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of deployed U.S. troops with loving care packages and letters from all over the nation. This was made possible only with the help of tens of thousands of generous and patriotic friends in the U.S. and abroad. This is the least we can do to show our troops how much we care about them. Our troops need to know that we support and appreciate the sacrifices they make for us, our families, and our future. This is about giving back to those who give all™.
