We are a small body of believers committed to worshipping and serving Jesus Christ. Our worship services are a gathering of people from Coronado, the military community, guests in Coronado, and occasionally people from around the world. As a Southern Baptist Church, we join with likeminded Christians in spreading the gospel around the world.
Christ reached out to people of all ages and backgrounds and at our church we desire to do the same. That is why you will discover here ministries geared to various life stages and needs. That is why we have a place for everyone to study the Scriptures, fellowship together, and minister to others through numerous service opportunities.
We have Sunday School classes for both children and adults.
We have a fellowship potluck luncheon on the first Sunday of every month.
We want you to be a part of the blessings of God in the life of our church. We will bring you updates often on just what is happening at our church and what prayer praises and requests we are hearing.
What We Believe
Coronado Baptist Church cooperates with the San Diego Southern Baptist Association, the California Southern Baptist Convention, and the Southern Baptist Convention.
The church is theologically conservative, Bible-believing, and upholds the historical fundamentals of the Christian faith:
- that every person is naturally a sinner
- that every person is separated from God by personal sin
- that Christ has paid the penalty of our sins by his death on the cross
- that God is now free to offer us pardon for our sins
- that every believer should have a close, personal relationship with God

We have weekly services at the Church every Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday as follows:
Sunday:
Bible Study: 9:45 AM - 10:45 AM
Morning Service: 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Wednesday:
Bible Study: 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Friday:
Choir Practice: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
We also have regular bible studies outside the church every Thursday:
